About me
I was born in Hranice na Moravě and lived in Lipník nad Bečvou until the age of ten. I currently live and work in Prague.
I studied packaging technology at a secondary school in Štětí and later completed studies in Human Resources in Sydney.
Throughout my life, I have experienced not only domestic violence but also a serious illness. At the age of 25, I decided to make a radical life change and moved to Sydney.
In April 2019, I painted my very first artwork, and later that same year I held my first exhibition opening. Since then, my paintings have been sold and exhibited not only across the Czech Republic but have also attracted attention abroad.
Through my work, I aim to encourage people to be open and honest—to not be afraid to talk about how they truly feel. The abstract style allows me to express my own emotions and experiences, while at the same time giving viewers the freedom to find their own meaning in the paintings and connect with them on a personal level. My artworks are a reflection of everything I have gone through in life.
I choose colors intuitively and do not plan the final appearance of a painting. I begin with a base layer and then allow colors and emotions to flow freely and intertwine. The result is artwork full of color and texture, unconstrained by rigid boundaries. I am not afraid to experiment with different techniques and materials, although acrylic paint remains my primary medium.
Each painting carries its own emotion—the one present at the moment of its creation. I believe that my work speaks to those who are experiencing something similar.
