1. Introductory Provisions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the mutual rights and obligations between:

registered as a sole trader (the “Seller”)

and the buyer (the “Customer”), who enters into a purchase agreement via the website www.terezajacob.com, by email, through social media, or through in-person purchase (e.g., at exhibitions).

2. Offer and Order

The Seller offers original artworks, specifically original abstract paintings.

Orders may be placed through the online shop, via email, or through social media.
Upon receiving an order, the Seller will confirm its acceptance and specify availability and delivery conditions.
The purchase agreement is formed once the order has been confirmed.

3. Price and Payment Terms

Prices are listed individually for each artwork and are final.

The Customer may pay the purchase price by:

• online card payment via the Stripe payment gateway, or

• bank transfer to the Seller’s account (payment details will be provided after the order is placed).

Goods are dispatched only after the payment has been credited.

4. Delivery Terms

Goods are shipped via the carrier TOP Trans, or another transport service as mutually agreed.

Personal collection in Prague is possible upon prior agreement.

The delivery time depends on the specific arrangement, typically within 7 business days after the payment is received.

Shipping costs are covered by the Seller unless stated otherwise.

5. Withdrawal from the Agreement

Because original artworks are custom-made or created with a significant degree of personal artistic expression, the Customer cannot withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, in accordance with Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code (unless otherwise agreed).

For standard goods (e.g., reproductions) that are not modified at the Customer’s request, the Customer may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

6. Claims and Complaints

In the event of defective delivery (e.g., damage during transport), please contact the Seller immediately at: art@terezajacob.com

A claim must be filed without undue delay and supported with photographic documentation.

7. Personal Data Protection

The Seller processes the Customer’s personal data in accordance with applicable legislation and the Privacy Policy available here: [link to GDPR policy].

Personal data is used solely for the purpose of processing the order and is not shared with third parties.

8. Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are valid and effective as of 1 January 2025 and are available on the website www.terezajacob.com.

The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms. Any changes become effective on the date of publication.
